It’s tempting to shuck corn on the cob while we’re still at the local grocery store, but doing so may be harmful to this veggie’s nutrient content!
It’s better to buy and store the corn in its husk, then shuck it right before you cook it. If you’re not planning to use it immediately, store the corn in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. When the silks begin to turn brown or dark, then the corn is past its prime.
